Picnicks, Paddle Boats, and Weddings

Somebody had said that Korea reminded him of the 1950s. I don't remember who said it, or exactly what was meant. I tend to agree, though I don't know much about the 50s, or Korea. People are happy, live in small homes, and married with children.

I suspect that there were several weddings today. I live near a 4 story Wedding Hall that does good business every weekend I've been here. There are a couple other weddings halls, and though they are smaller they too do very well. I was told that sometimes you can see the wedding party after the ceremony with the groom running behind a car in his underwear. The groom is typically wearing a collar and leash with the other end tied to the car with the bride sitting in the trunk. I ate lunch downtown near a window facing the street, sure enough a brigade of cars made their way through the streets with a man in his underwear leashed to a car. I happened to run into that same wedding party hours later and took their picture.
