Sunday morning in Myeong-dong (nobody seems worried about the North)

Interesting street near an embassy row
Seeing the Embassy of the Rupublic of Iraq was exciting. This is the only embassy I saw on Saturday that had a guard house with Korean police. The American embassy has riot police waiting in buses, both times i've been.
I would like to work in Qatar.
American military behind this wall and barbed wire.
It sounds like activity is increasing in the airspace here. Jet's are flying more frequently. I'm interested to watch the political events unfold over the next 6 months.
I've never seen a combat helicpoter until coming to Korea. What I think is a Russian made KA-50 flew over our school a while back. Very impressive looking with twin rotors and well armed. Picture from the internet below.
One of my parents' classes took me out to lunch with my co-teacher today. The little restaurant was a stone throw from school. The little restaurant in this economically depressed neighborhood was surprisingly busy. Several business types in there. I was told it was "baked fish." Sometimes things get lost in the translation. It was dried fish. The fish was surprisingly good.
One of the women gutted the fish, and took the bones out for me. She put chunks of fish on a plate near me whenever my plate was running low. She also did this for "Young Man" the only Dad in the class. I remember that Mrs. Yoon did this for her husband at dinners in Daytona. My co-teacher said this is the custom. Not so bad really.
Here are some pictures of the fish we ate I pulled of the Internet.
